This letter is in appreciation for the beautiful Charlotte jumbo dread naught guitar that Brian Irwin made for me. I have been playing the guitar for forty nine years. I played in a bluegrass gospel band for twelve of those years. I have played many different kinds and models of guitars, and until I was blessed to have the Charlotte jumbo made for me by Brian, I was convinced that the Martin D-28 was the way to go. Now that I have played the Charlotte jumbo I have decisively changed my mind. This guitar has unbelievable brightness of tone from Bass to Treble. Brian molded the Charlotte jumbo after the martin D-28, and researched it to come up with his concept. The Martin has great Bass but lacks in fullness of the Treble. I was amazed at the fullness of sound across the bridge that Brian achieved with the Charlotte. In my opinion he has created the most beautiful and remarkable guitar that I have had the pleasure of playing.
Many Thanks,
